A little info about how we do business at The Lab?.my brother Chris ...

?My brother Justin T. Thacker, Master of Science in Physical Performance and Nutrition, Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian, Health & Fitness Specialist, USA Weightlifting Level 2 Coach, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Crossfit Level 1 Coach, Bio-Signature Level 2 Practitioner. Justin is a National Champion Olympic Weightlifter. He has been a personal trainer since he was 18 years old and has over 20 years experience designing training programs for not only himself but for a vast number of clientele, such as athletes, major weight loss, geriatric and children. He has worked with every physical disability imaginable, rehabilitation patients from injuries and reconstructions and a majority of illnesses and conditions. Through Justin?s years of experience in the field, he has developed The Lab?s training system, which has been the catalyst for countless successful clientele. The Lab?s Personal Training staff have to live up to Justin?s expectations and scrutiny. They do this through our Apprenticeship Program. This is a 90-120 day program that utilizes an intensive 4 week education process with Justin, practical exams, written exams, shadowing hours and practice clients. They must test out to be considered a ?Lab? Trainer and then they work their way up through our hierarchy based on education, certifications and time with our system. When we bring in a potential trainer they have had previous experience in the field, specific education and certifications. An Associates degree in an Applied Health Science is accepted, but a Bachelor?s is preferred. We only accept a small number of certifications and our preferred 2 carry a pre-requisite of a 4 year degree. We have several trainers with multiple certifications and even Masters degree?s. ?
